my birth day in cebu

our first stop lapulapu shrine
last november 21 i went to cebu with my friend to celebrate my birth day. only an overnight stay in cebu then we will proceed to boracay for another 4 days vacation. (a separate post i made for the skywalk adventure if you're looking for it) we took the services of  kuya danny. he has a taxi that can accommodate you for your tours. as in sila na bahala for your tour - 250 per hour. sundo sa airport then diretso na sa tour. well actually it was kuya chris who fetched us from the airport (one of kuya danny's trusted friend). here's their number if you would like to get their services - 09193752071.

before proceeding to cebu city itself. sabi ni kuya chris mura daw pasalubong dito. so we decided to buy tshirts here. for only 80 pesos!!!! cheap diba!

a view at plantation bay. this hotel is very expensive. at least we had the privilege of having to tour around
at the bridge entering cebu city

magellans cross

basilica church (just besides magellan's cross)

city hall of cebu (in front of magellan's cross)

this bakery is famous here in cebu. tried their famous hopia . pwede na rin. many places to go be sure to buy drinks here.

entrance fee here is 40 pesos

taoist temple settles in a subdivision in cebu. you have to pay for the parking fee. (sorry forgot how much is it) if you're going to commute here, be sure to let your taxi wait because you have to walk a long way to the subdivision's entrance to get a taxi

after a tiring day it's lunch time already. we went to the famous cnt lechon. masarap nga lechon dito. but be patient when ordering here because everyday there are plenty of customers here. as in plenty!!!! when we arrived it was 11:00 am. we took a blue tag number- number 19. guess what? they were serving red tag number 38!!! ha!!! pag gutom na gutom ka na wag ka dito pupunta dahil baka magdilim ang paningin mo di pa tinatawag number mo. in our case it's our first time and have to taste the famous lechon!!! (can't remember the price but i think it's more or less 350 per kilo) we only ordered one fourth and chopsuey and pansit.

we went to natasha cebu. one of the branches of natasha where we're working.

at last!! we can rest!! eventhough kuya chris is offering other tourist spots to see. we were very exhausted already so we decided to go to the hotel were staying in. 4:20 am flight from manila makes you really sleepy by this time!!! roseate pension offers 1000 per night in a deluxe room (with view)
nice comfortable beds

the only complaint i had here was there was no water coming from the faucet. the only water source is the shower. (no faucet also in the shower area)  i decided to ask for a pail and a dipper, guess what? they don't have one! i guess if you're in cebu try to look for a nicer hotel or inn with water coming from the faucets! we used our mineral -drinking water for brushing our teeth. pro's of this hotel is that they have a water dispenser in their dining area (which is a few steps from our room). the hotel is near crown regency where the skywalk adventure is. near larsiano - home of famous barbecue. maybe we're just not lucky enough that we had the room with broken faucets and sink.
the only water source

bridge going to the airport. bye cebu!!!!

boracay trip on november2010

after an overnight celebration of my birth day in cebu we were headed to boracay. yipee!!! we were early for our 10am flight going to caticlan. very much excited for its my first time going to boracay.
booked on this hotel months ago. surely im excited.....
surely i was amazed how big the room was. milflores is not a beach front resort but its only a minute or two to the beach. they have 2 queen sized bed that surely can fit four persons in a room. the room is very big no worries for bumping to each other.
